    Categories: Safari, Tutorials Comments: 0

Have you ever been on YouTube and wondered if you can download the videos? well you can, all you need is to view the Activity Monitor screen and double click the link.

But if your quicktime doesnt support FLV files you will need to get the Perian Plugin for Qucktime which can be found at http://perian.org/, alternatively, you can do what i did, and just converted the file to MP4/AVI/MOV etc.

  • Google Chrome Web Browser

    07Sep

Well, it looks like Google have come up with their own Web Browser, and to be honest, i think its a jolly good piece of kit, its light, fast - and i mean fast, and its based on Web Kit like Apples Safari.

I’m rather happy that they chose Web Kit, as i was never a huge fan of Mozilla, and with Google now bringing their own contribution to the table, it leaves the question wether they will continue to fund Mozilla?

I know for one, i will be using Chrome on my Vista Media Centre, Dell Vostro and my XP Work Machine, but when the finally bring it out for OS X i very much doubt that i will be hanging up Safari in favour of Chrome.

If your on Windows, go and check out Google Chrome at Google.com, and bear in mind that its onle a Beta release, and future releases should have some more functions and configuration settings.
